Hi Parents!
I’m Jennifer, and this is my son, Ray. We live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. When Ray was born, I went on a mission to find the perfect sleeping bag for him. At one point, I had 11 different ones—but none quite met my needs.
I wanted something truly functional: a sleeping bag with a changeable inner liner and sleeves for different temperatures, mobility for playtime before bed, an easy diaper-change design, a convertible split-leg option, and 100% cotton inside and out. But nothing like that existed!
So, with the help of my mom, I took an old sleeping bag and made my first prototype. Ray has been wearing that very first version ever since! The more he wore it, the more I fell in love with the idea.
Determined to bring this vision to life, I worked with pattern makers, sourced the best materials, and partnered with a manufacturer to create what is now OatmealBaby. I’m so excited to share this labor of love with you—designed for both comfort and convenience. I hope your little one loves it as much as we do!
